NeuroPath — Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the NeuroPath mobile and web app. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use NeuroPath.
1. Who we are
NeuroPath is operated by Talha Bin Zubair, an individual developer based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("we", "us"). Contact: privacy@getneuropath.com
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older, or the age of majority where you live, whichever is greater. By using NeuroPath you confirm that you are.
3. NeuroPath is not medical advice
Read this part. NeuroPath is a self-tracking and educational tool. It is not a medical device, and it does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition — including any addiction, compulsive behaviour or mental health condition. Nothing in the app is medical, psychological, or clinical advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional.
Scores, patterns, insights and recommendations are produced by fixed rules operating on data you entered. They are informational only. Never disregard professional advice or delay seeking it because of something you read in NeuroPath.
If you are in crisis or at risk of harming yourself, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line immediately. NeuroPath is not a crisis service, is not monitored, and cannot help in an emergency.
4. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
You may use NeuroPath as a guest, without an email address. A guest account cannot be recovered if you lose access to your device, because there is no verified way to prove it is yours. Guest accounts can be deleted from Settings like any other.
5. Your content
Habits, notes, urge logs and everything else you record remain yours. We claim no ownership. We use them only to operate the features you are using, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not use your content to train machine-learning models.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use NeuroPath to break the law, attempt to access other users' data, disrupt or probe the service, reverse engineer it except where that right cannot lawfully be excluded, or resell access. We may suspend accounts that do.
7. Subscriptions and payment
NeuroPath offers optional paid features. All purchases are processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play — we never handle your payment details and cannot process payments directly.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
- Manage or cancel through your Apple or Google account settings, not through us.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. We cannot issue refunds for store purchases.
- Prices may change. We will give notice before a change affects a renewal.
Deleting your NeuroPath account does not cancel a store subscription. Cancel it in the store as well.
8. External links
The Academy links to articles and videos hosted by third parties. Those links open outside NeuroPath. We do not host, control or endorse that content, and we are not affiliated with its creators. Linking is not endorsement, and third-party content is governed by its own terms.
9. Availability
We aim to keep NeuroPath running but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice so you can export or delete your data.
10. Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NeuroPath is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of any insight or score.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to NeuroPath is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and if you are a consumer you keep any mandatory rights your local law gives you.
11. Ending your use
You may stop at any time and delete your account from Settings, which permanently erases your data. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, and will explain why unless prohibited by law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will notify you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use NeuroPath afterwards means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence.
