Most apps are built to take your attention. This one is built to give it back.

NeuroPath is a habit and recovery tracker grounded in how your reward system actually works. It doesn't nag you into compliance — it shows you what's driving the behaviour, so you can change it with science rather than willpower.

Today screen: a Right now suggestion to start a focus block, then today's habits — Qur'an, dhikr and Fajr on time already done. Recovery screen: 45 days clean, 15 days to the 60-day milestone, personal best 52 days, and the last 14 days as a calendar. Progress screen: dopamine balance for the week as bars, 77% habits, +21 average balance, 4.2 hours of focus, and this week's trigger pattern. Grow screen: continue The Dopamine Engine lesson, then the five Academy tracks — dopamine, cortisol, serotonin, endorphins, oxytocin.

One suggestion for right now, then the habits you chose. Salah, dhikr and Qur'an next to everything else.

Sound familiar?

You're not lazy. You're outnumbered.

There are teams of very smart people whose full-time job is keeping you scrolling. It was never a fair fight, and it was never about discipline.

  • You open your phone to check one thing and resurface forty minutes later.
  • You've deleted the app before. It was back within a week.
  • Screen time reports tell you how long. They never tell you why.
  • You had a good run once. Losing it is the thing that made you stop trying.

This was never a discipline problem. It's a reward system problem — and unlike willpower, a reward system can be measured.

Every scroll, every notification, every quick hit trains the same circuit. NeuroPath tracks what's draining that system and what's restoring it, then shows you the difference as one number you can actually act on. No guesswork, no lectures, no black box.

Read how the balance score works

How it works

Four things your phone's wellbeing settings will never do.

See what actually moved your day.

One score for what drained you against what restored you. It isn't a grade and it isn't a guess — every point traces back to something you logged.

  • Tap any bar and it tells you exactly what earned it.
  • Week and month views, so a single bad day stays a single bad day.
  • Fixed, readable rules — not a model that can't explain itself.

A morning walk set the tone early. Two 20-minute walks and an earlier bedtime accounted for most of today's gain.

A streak that can't be used against you.

Every other app turns your progress into something you're afraid to lose. That fear is the same mechanism you're trying to escape, so we refused to build it.

  • Your personal best is never erased. A slip resets the current streak and nothing else. The record stands.
  • Track what you're actually recovering from — pornography, gaming, social media, shopping, short-form video, nicotine or phone overuse.
  • Not one word of shaming copy, anywhere in the app. No "failed", no "broken", no guilt-trip notifications.

Habits that log themselves.

The reason habit trackers get abandoned is the tracking. So the parts that can be verified automatically are — and the parts that can't stay one tap away.

  • Steps and sleep read from Health, read-only, and marked as sensor-verified so you can tell them apart from what you logged by hand.
  • The manual path never closes. A phone left at home or a revoked permission can't make a habit impossible to complete.
  • Timed focus sessions tied to the habit they belong to, so deep work counts for something.

Know when the urge is coming.

Log a trigger in two taps and the app starts finding the shape of it — the hours, the situations, the days that keep repeating. Seeing the pattern is most of the work.

  • Rules you can read, not a model you can't. Fixed lookup logic, stated plainly.
  • Weekly reviews and monthly reports built only from what you actually logged.
  • A starter plan from your own answers — your goals and triggers shape it, not a default template.
  • Restless but not fighting an urge? Tap Right now, say how you feel, and get one thing to do. It logs nothing and touches no streak.

Try it

How are you feeling right now?

Pick one. This is the exact card the app answers with: one thing to do, not a menu, because choosing from a menu is one more decision you don't have in you at 11pm. It logs nothing.

Right now

Pick a feeling on the left.

You'll get one action, written for that state, and a way out if it isn't the right one.

On purpose

The things we deliberately didn't build.

An app about escaping manipulative reward loops has no business adding one. Every absence below is a decision, not a missing feature.

  • No points or currencies

No loot boxes, no coins, no artificial reward triggers. Badges exist, they're informational, and they're worth nothing.

  • No streak panic

Nothing counts down at you. Nothing warns you what you're about to lose. Your personal best is permanent.

  • Notifications off by default

Capped at one habit reminder a day plus a weekly nudge. That cap is the entire surface, by design.

  • No ads, no analytics

No advertising identifiers, no third-party analytics SDKs, no tracking. Your recovery data is never sold or shared.

  • Screen time stays on your phone

Per-app figures are grouped into categories on-device and never uploaded to us or anyone else.

  • Delete means deleted

Erase your account and everything goes with it immediately. No retention window, no archived copy.

The Academy

Understand the trick being played on you, and it loses its grip.

Eighteen short, plain-language lessons in five tracks — dopamine, cortisol, serotonin, endorphins, oxytocin. What each one actually does, why the dip after a binge feels the way it does, and what the research says about moving a baseline back. Each lesson ends with a quick quiz, so it sticks instead of scrolling past.

Start with dopamine

Six lessons, from The Dopamine Engine to Variable Rewards and Infinite Feeds: why the feed is built the way it is, and the one place in the loop where change is actually possible.

Written for the hard days

Why the hour after a binge feels worse than the hour before it, and what that says about the next 24 hours. Lessons like Relapse Without Shame and Fasting, Prayer and the Reward Loop are in here on purpose.

Questions

The things worth asking first.

Is this therapy?

No, and we won't pretend otherwise. NeuroPath is an educational habit-tracking tool. It is not a medical device and not a substitute for therapy, diagnosis or crisis support.

If you're in crisis, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis line. A tracker is not what you need in that moment.

Does it work on iPhone and Android?

It's live on the App Store now, and the Google Play release is days away — the same account will work on either.

One difference worth knowing up front: on Android, NeuroPath can show you real per-app usage minutes. On iOS, Apple only ever tells an app that a limit you set was crossed — never how long you spent where. Everything else works identically.

What happens to my screen-time data?

It never leaves your phone. Per-app figures are grouped into four categories — social, video, gaming, other — on the device itself, and the raw numbers are never transmitted to our servers or to anyone else.

The permission is optional. The app is fully functional without it.

Why is porn or gaming recovery in a habit app?

Because that's what people are actually trying to change, and generic to-do lists are useless for it. Compulsive behaviours — and nicotine, the one physical dependency in the list — need streaks, urge logs and trigger patterns, not a checkbox.

Recovery data is treated as the sensitive information it is: encrypted, excluded from any analytics, never used for advertising, and hard-deleted with your account.

Do I have to give it Health access?

No. Health access is read-only and entirely optional — it exists so step and sleep habits can verify themselves instead of asking you to log something your phone already knows.

NeuroPath never writes to Health, and never uses health data for advertising. Decline it and every habit still works; you just tick them yourself.

What happens if I relapse?

The current streak resets. Nothing else does. Your longest streak stays on the screen exactly where it was, because it happened and deleting it would be a lie.

There's no notification about it, no colour change designed to sting, and no language calling it a failure. You log it, the app records it, and you keep going.

Is there an Islamic Mode?

Yes, and it's off by default. Turning it on in Settings adds a small set of prayer-anchored and fasting-aware challenges — Fajr Anchor, Screens After Isha, Ramadan Reset — alongside the rest of the catalogue. Salah, dhikr and Qur'an already work as ordinary habits with it off.

Prayer names are used as anchors only. NeuroPath does not calculate prayer times and never will pretend to; use the app you already trust for that.

Can I delete everything?

Yes, from inside the app: Settings → Delete account. It's immediate and total — there's no retention window and no archived copy sitting on a backup somewhere.

The full process is written out on the support page.
